Gaining access after a company-required password change

Brian

My company requires that the user create a new password every 90 days for
security purposes. When the user goes in to connect to Project Server via
PWA or Project PRO, they are getting an error stating they are not authorized
to view the directory or page using the credentials they supplied "because
your Web browser is sending a WWW-Authenticate header field that the Web
server is not configured to accept.

Can someone explain what is happening here and what needs to be done to
correct it?

Thanks.

In Internet Options > Security > Custom Level - at the bottom of the
list, are options to log on, including prompt for user name and
password, logon automatically, etc. Could it be that the new password
hasn't been synched to all the servers?

Do you users log in via NT or by using Project Server Authentication?

Thanks Mark! Right after I posted this question, I had the very same
suspicion. Guess what? We were both right! The user got a little impatient
while things were trying to synch up.

Thanks for the reply. I hope someone else benefits from this.
