I've got XP Pro 2002 SP2. Don't use it for anything but playing games.
Games crash - daily. Stopped playing Pax Imperia, Freeleancer, Masters of
Orion 3, Myst etc, Roller cOaster/ Zoolander, Mission Humanity, SimCity. Can
still play Civ 2 & 3 and rarely Empire Earth. Never on the same day. And it
still crashes. Have reloaded games, computer, games again, new version of
the games. No go. Have a Dell Pentium(R) 4 CPU DIM 4700 2.79 G w/ 1 GB RAM.
Radeon 300 series display adapter. Intel R 82801 FB Ultra and FBM/Ultra
storage controllers. Been to Dell's help lines frequently over past 2-1/2
years, weekly the first few months. Keep room temp at 64/65 F. Never run
anything but that game when I play. Two games always crashes system. If
you guys games on this system, have you encountered this? How did you fix it?
