Gannt chart and initial date (the first visible date)

Hi,
I have following problem. In organization, we are using MPS 2003. When I
opened the project from server, in Gannt chart the first date doesn't
correspond with the plan. For example:
- In Project Information, the project starts on 13.10.2006
- The first task starts 13.10.2006. No other task starts earlier
- The first visible date is 28.8.2006

Is it possible to set it to see e.g. the actual date or start of the
project? Now I need to roll the window to see it everytime.

Check the status date in Project -> project information.
If this didnt help, I'm not sure how to fix this, but you don't need to
scroll the window.
There is a button 'Go to selected Task' on the toolbar which will jump
to the task instead of the need for scrolling.
