Gant Chart bar colour by Resource Name

In Project 2007, is it possible to automatically format the bar colour in the
Gant Chart view to vary by the Resource Name allocated, thereby providing a
visual overview of the task allocations and resource requirements?

Pete,
Well yes, but what if there is more than one resource assigned to a task?

In the case where you will always have a single resource assigned to
each task, you will need to set up as many spare task flag fields as you
have resources. Note that I said Task flag fields, not resource flag
fields. Then set up the bar format under Format/Bar Styles and use the
selected flag field in the Show for... Tasks column for each different
bar.
