Gant Chart view missleading

Rusty

I have usually 10 or more projects in Project Server at
one time. From the Projects page I can view the project
summary information on the left (name, start date, finish
date, % comp., etc.), and the right side shows the Gant
Chart. The progress bar on the Gant chart is not
representative of the actual % complete for some of the
projects. For example, the project data on the left side
shows 50% complete, yet the progress bar on the Gant chart
indicates far less completed work. Please help me
understand why this is happening. Thank you.

Kevin,

Unfortunately, Microsoft Project is not perfect either.
The left side information was the same as the Summary info
on the Gantt chart. However, there was a drastic visible
difference between the two. This project did fall behind
and even when the project was marked 90% complete,
updated, saved, and reloaded-the Gantt chart still only
showed maybe 20% complete. Just wish I knew why it was
occuring. Thanks for the input.
