Gantt Chart issue.

I have had a number of users complain that they make customizations to their
Gantt charts (color coding, text and drawings) and from time to time their
customizations seem to disappear after a save and publish. Is this an issue?
has anyone else experienced this and if so, is there a fix?

Sorry forgot to mention, MSPS 2007 SP2...

That will happen if they customize an Enterprise View, which is locked down
by the admin. Have them make sure to copy the view first - then customize
it. That should then stick.

The important thing to remember, that most users do not understand, is that
formatting is property of the view in which you add formatting. That means
if your users format the Gantt Chart view, this formatting is available in
that view ONLY.

If you follow Andrew's advice to copy an Enterprise view, make sure that
your users rename the view or they will have a "conflict" when they open the
project again.
