Gantt Chart on Task View

I would like to remove the Gantt chart completely on the task view for
individual resources. They don't use it and it takes up space unnecessarily.
How can I remove it? I looked at creating a custom view, but it doesn't
give an option of "NONE" for the Gantt chart.

You cannot remove it. Instead, teach your team members to drag the vertical
split bar all the way to the right edge of the page. Hope this helps.
