gantt chart problems

Hi

I've tried to create a Gantt chart in Visio, and as I suspect anyone who's
tried I've found it doesn't really work all that well. I tried to follow the
suggestions on
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA010563251033.aspx but this
refers to:

a) Exporting as a Microsoft Visio Timeline drawing but I don't have this
option

b) Setting the "Size to fit drawing contents" option, but this still only
shows me about a month of the chart

I also tried saving the file as a JPG but this produced a large grey image
with nothing in it at all.

Any suggestions?
