I'm trying to get the week date shown in the Gantt column to start on a
Monday.

Anyone know how this can be done?

Cheers

right-click --> Date Options
or
menu Gantt Chart --> Options

and set the date to the appropriate Monday

Hi Paul

Can you check that, as it doesn't work for me?

I spoke since to MS & found a 'workaround' from as there is no option to
change defaults (apparently this was 'bought-in' as an American product):

Select range of cells to change. Use Format>Protection>Text to unprotect the
text & then manually edit the contents of the cells. Reset protection is
req.

Well, your original problem
I'm trying to get the week date shown in the Gantt column to start on a
Monday.

I can make the column start on any day of the week.

Sorry, how is this related to the original problem?

The original problem is that when you create Gantt chart with Date Options
for Months (Major units) & Weeks (Minor Units), Visio will display the week
dates columns for the Sundays - e.g. 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th under the
July header. This is not altered by the timescale range being set to a
Monday date.

The workaround answers the need for the week's column dates to display
starting on the Monday.
