Gantt Chart

Using Project Standard 2003. Gantt chart shows unused space that I do not
want to see. i.e. The first item starts on Dec 6, 2005 but the Gantt chart,
in print preview, shows unused space to the left of this date all the way
back to September 2005. I only want to see one or two weeks prior to Dec 6,
2005 on the Gantt chart in print preview. How do I make this happen.

File menu, Print... is the command to be executed
You will see the timescale box below left
