I am trying to use Visio for some simple Gantt charts. I can't figure
out how to use the Actual Start and Finish properties of the task
shape. Is there any way to use these to display actual progress? I
know how to use the percent complete indicator, but that's not what
I'm after. What I want is a second task bar below each original
showing actual start and finish.
According to Microsoft Viso 2002 Inside Out (Microsoft Press) p353
"for ongoing projects you can display a progress line to indicate
actual start and completion dates". This sounds like what I want but
it doesn't say how to do it.
I can't see how to use the Actual Start and Actual Finish fields,
other than to display them in columns. How do I use them to control
the location of a task bar?
Thanks
