Gap in the schedule

Hi friends,

I have problem leveling the tasks. After leveling, whether it's by "ID Only"
or "Priority, Standard", the task schedule for each of my resources have time
gap of more than 1 week which allows each resource to have a break. I've made
sure that's not caused by resource contraint. These tasks are just assigned
with one resource each.

In other cases some tasks are scheduled in parallel for one resource, that
is, 4 hours for task 1 and 4 hours for task 2 in consective two days. I
prefer people finish task 1 first and then continue on task 2 even though
there's no dependency between these two tasks.

I have spent several days on this and I couldn't see what's the actual end
date of my project. Is this how Project is supposed to behave? How can I
avoid this?

Are all your resources assigned to each task at 100%? Are you listing your
resources individually or are they in a single generic group?

Hi Aniki

have you levelled at an "hour by hour" setting .. (from my experience)
project won't "correct" your second problem if you only levelled at a "day
by day" setting.

As to the first problem i have really no idea, is the "clear levelling
values before levelling" check box checked?
