gaps in reports

I seem to be getting gaps in a printed report between the
page header and detail section. My detail section starts
with a sub report which is tight up to the top of the
section. The sub report only has a detail section. I have
set the page layout margins for the sub report to 0. Is
there any way to get rid of the gap please?

Try setting the 'Can Shrink' property of the detail
section to 'yes'.... might work...
