General Installation

I purchased OneNote 2003 last August, but never installed. I tried to
install this evening, but Windows will not recognize the disk on my laptop.
The message indicates that the disk may be corrupted. I used the disk on
another computer and the installation wizard started without incident. Other
CD's run on the laptop including the Resource CD that came with OneNote 2003.

What do I do now?

Try cleaning the CD and the lens on your laptop CD reader. Try burning a
copy of the CD to a CD-R and then putting that in your laptop CD reader.
Some CD readers have a hard time with some recorded CDs but a better time
with others. You might need to use an external CD-ROM drive.

This really isn't a question about OneNote. The software on the disk has
nothing to do with your laptop's ability to read the disk at all. Take
the whole thing up to a local PC repair shop and see if they can figure
it out.
