Hi, Justin.
I noticed in my profile that I'm "signed up" for a thread.
If you don't remember "signing up," then chances are, you didn't. The Web
portal is still buggy and people get notified via E-mail that there's a reply
to their question, and when they follow the link, it's someone else's
question.
How do I sign up
for threads.
Whenever you post a question or reply to a question, there's a check box on
the bottom left of the window, "Notify me of replies," which you must check
before hitting the "Post" button. Occasionally, you'll see threads where
someone posted an "empty" reply (no written response), and it's because they
want to follow the thread via the E-mail notifications, but they don't want
to participate. You can do the same, if you don't mind being considered
annoying. It's annoying to sign up for this notification and be sent E-mails
whenever someone posts a reply, yet find that there's no reply to read when
you get there. Kind of like playing "ding-dong-ditch" when you were a kid.
HTH.
Gunny

If my answer has helped you, please sign in and answer yes to the question
"Did this post answer your question?" at the bottom of the message, which
adds your question and the answers to the database of answers. Remember that
questions answered the quickest are often from those who have a history of
rewarding the contributors who have taken the time to answer questions
correctly.
