When I open Word, my curser is showing up on the very top of my page. I am currently viewing word in "print layout". It is indented 1 inch from the left but is not showing my margin setting of 1 inch from the top. The only way I have found to correct this is to select: view - page header and footer. Once there I just select close and my curser is then where it should be. I have checked my margin settings and they are what they should be.

This is a result of the white space between pages toggle, which has a hair
spring in Word 2003. Click the tiny gap between the top of the page and the
ruler, or reset it from tools > options > view.

Hi Angie

In Tools > Options > View, check the box for "White space between pages".

When you put the cursor on the gray space between pages and it changes into
two little rectangles containing arrows, don't click unless you want to hide
the white space again.
