General Questions about BCM Contacts

Is it useful to use BCM for all contacts to include vendors and contractors,
as well as contacts representing sales opportunities?
I'm wondering how people in this group deploy BCM. What criteria do people
use to decide (for example) to make a contact a BCM contact vs. just a
standard Outlook contact?
