Generate document with OWC server side...

Hi there,
In the past, I have had a lot problems by using automation (at the
server side) with IIS & ASP? I was generating my report with excel or
word by calling them from ASP.

Now, my problem is the same. I want to do the same thing (but now with
Word ), but I'm frightened by my past issues... Is Office Web
Component dedicated to ASP .NET and server environment?

The Office Web Components are ActiveX controls. So they can be used in
other environements besides ASP.Net.

They can be used on the server from either ASP or ASP.Net.

However, OWC doesn't include "Word" functionality. Its mostly Excel
(spreadsheet, charting, pivot tables).
