Generate the Text automaticaly after setting the shape user-proper

Hello,
I uses shapes with some user-properties. After I copy one of them to my page
it open automaticaly the input-box for this necessary parameter. After I put
in all data, I clos this box. Know I need something (VBA-code, macro,....)
that creates the text of this shape automaticaly. I need an example for this
(event handling,....).

Hi Frank,

You can use Insert > Field to link the text on a shape to a Custom
Property -- the data stored in your shape.

If you want the text on a shape via code, use this:

shp.Text

or

shp.Characters.Text (for inserted fields)
