In building my helpdesk I am wanting to send an email by clicking on a
button in the form.
When I click on the form I would like to generate an email with content from
that form. I have the email of the person who has raised the request for
help. So when I click the button I am trying to create an email that has:
1. Addressed to the person on the form who requested the help
2. the form ID in the subject line which was generated when the request
was placed
3. Some base text saying we have addressed the issue and it has been
resolved by: "... Comment in Form... "
4. Closing Text
At this stage with the email in front of me partly populated I can then add
any additional details to the email and then click send. If anyone has done
this or could give me some idea of how to go about it, that would be great.
I have the button for the email which works with an onclick with predefined
details but I not sure how to include details from the form.
