Generating SQL Schema from visio database diagram

From research i have done you should be able to generate sql databases from a
diagram if you have the enterprise architecture edition or just the visio
2000 enterprise edition I currently am using Microsoft Office Visio for
enterprise architects vers 11.4301.6568. i would think that i should be able
to generate the sql database but can't find any "generate"option

are you saying you have no database => database model diagram on your
diagram types? And in the toolbar under Database you have not Generate
option?

These are the options i have under the database tool menu

--Reverse Engineer
--Model Error Check
--Report
--View
--Code
--Import/Export
--User Defined Types
--Options

It looks like the import/export options are more for exporting to Erwin

If I open a Database Model Diagram and then Select Database from the menu,
my pulldown menu starts with
Update
Generate
Reverse Engineer

I'm at 11.4301.8028. If I open an ER Source Model I get what you see......
