Generation of report

I try to generate report for a list of equipment entered on a visio file. One
of the customer properties called "TAG" and defined as string do not give me
the right output in the report. Some of the equipments representing heat
exchangers have entered as tagname "12E100" but into the report, they appear
as "1.2E+101". Even if we have define the properties as string, the
generation of report do not recognize it. Do you know how to keep the
original tagname?

Which report is this? Is it one of the standard built-in reports?
"12E100" is being seen as a number even though you have defined it as
a string and then it is being normalised as scientific format number
to 1.2E101.
