Before posting here I did my due diligence and still could not fine a solution.
have a simple 2000 access database that is on the network. Some users are
able to open it, click a button on the switchboard and enter data into a
query table. Some users get the error msg "There was an error executing the
command" when they click on any button on the switchboard. The database is
only two megs, so i copied it to my desktop and still the error message shows
up.
I googled and suggested to make sure that the references are correct on the
problem computers and not missing any reference files, which i have done.
I also went to microsoft site and found this link
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308630, which describe exactly what I am
experiencing, but the solution did not solve the problem when i applied it to
the database on the network and on my desktop, same error message.
I also did a search on here and found some entry of this error message, but
not much to go on.
Any help would be appreciated,
thank you,
