Yes, a special naming convention would probably be the most useful to you.
One company we work with prefixes all Generic resources with the string
"zzz". This forces all the Generic resources to the bottom of the list
alphabetically. A convention I personally like to use throughout Project
Server is to prefix company custom information with the string "msPE", which
is the abbreviation for our company name. Whatever naming convention you
use will make it easier to spot your Generic resources. WARNING: Be very
careful about using special characters in this regard, as it could interfere
with the building of the OLAP cube. Hope this helps.
