Generic Resources - View Assignments

In using PWA '03, I have found that I am unable to view the Assignments given
to a Generic Resource. I do understand that technically "assignments" are
not created for tasks which Generic Resources are assigned.

The only way I have been able to view the tasks (assigned to Generic
Resources) is by selecting the Generic Resources in the "Resource Summary"
view and then selecting to "View Availability". This view (Assignment Work
by Project) is terribly cumbersome to use. In our WBS we have 5 outline
levels. In this view I do not have the option of viewing Summary tasks. So,
if tasks have similar names, it is difficult to know what is what.

Is there a view that will provide me with what I need (summary tasks with
generic resource allocation)?

Hello Justin,

As you have not yet received an answer in this newsgroup and your
question concerns Project Server and PWA, I suggest you re-post your
question to the project server newsgroup
(microsoft.public.project.server)

Although most of the folks who answer questions in the newsgroups visit
all the groups, I think there's a higher concentration of "server gurus"
there and you may get a quicker answer.
