Genesis Student Information System

I am working with an Access secondary school adult vocational registration
database and have been told an Access database cannot link to the Genesis
Student Information System table containing student demographics that is used
by the school system. Has anyone had any experience with using data from or
providing data to the Genesis Student Information System?
