German language in Office 2004

Hello,

is the Office 2004 Education version multilingual?
I don't mean only the spell-checking but the whole menus and help
files.

Since MacOS X is multilingual I thought it may be the same for the
Office-package.

Thx for replies.

You have to buy the version you want. There is indeed a German version
available, also many other localized versions. But, no, it's not packaged up
as a single multi-lingual version. On the other hand, the applications -
especially Word - do allow you to do a bit more than just spell-checking in
various languages. They understand grammar too, and allow for multiple
custom dictionaries in different languages. Bu not menus or help files.

There's no difference whatsoever between the Student & Teachers Edition
(Educational) and the Standard edition aside from cost and the number of
computers you can run it on.

Sorry, no. MS didn't implement that.

Rumor has it that installing other-language versions with your serial number
works fine, if you've got a friend you can borrow from.
