German spellchecker

Hi group,

I am a Canadian citizen living in Germany. I recently put the Outlook 2003
on my system, only to find out that it doesn't have a german spellchecker.
(French and Spanish, but no German.) Where can I find the german dictionary
to download into my Outlook 2003 system? My WORD has the dictionary. Is
there any way of exporting out of WORD and into OUTLOOK?

All help would be greatly appreciated

If you use Word as your e-mail editor, the Word dictionary
should be available.
Choose Options from the Tools drop down menu, click on the
Mail Format tab. Place a check in front of "Use Microsoft
Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages"

In MS Word I can do the German spell-check and it finds automatically the
language.

But why does that not work in MS Outlook which is what I use for e-mail
composition and mailing?

You may need to manually select Word as your OL editor.
Go to Tools/Options/Format/Message Format, and slect Word as your editor.
Did that work?
