get active directory information

I'm using InfoPath 2003 and was curious if there was a way to populate the
users actve directory information when the form is submitted?
Right now they have to manually enter their name, ext and department;
however, for security reasons I'd like to be able to populate that
information for them to ensure they are truly the individual submitting the
form.

Are you restricted to InfoPath 2003? In 2007, it's very, very easy and
requires no code. I use it in every single form. In 2003, it will be more
difficult.
