Get connection message upon opening

Everytime I open MS Project 2002 it is asking to connect
to an account or server. I can also choose My Computer
(work offline). How do I keep from getting this message
to come up if I only want to work offline?

I don't really understand what you are trying to do with Project Server is
you are only going to work offline. Working offline will not give you any
of the enterprise features of the system, including the use of the
Enterprise Resource Pool, the Team Builder Wizard, saving and publishing
enterprise projects, etc.

However, if what you are asking is what you really want to do, you can
remove this dialog by deleting any Project Server login accounts other than
the My Computer login. Here's how to do it:

1. Open Microsoft Project Professional
2. In the login dialog, select My Computer and click the Work Offline
button
3. Click Tools - Enterprise Options - Microsoft Project Server Accounts
4. Select each account other than My Computer and click the Remove button
5. Click the OK button when finished

Do know that if you remove the accounts in this dialog, you will NOT be able
to log into Project Server and use any of the enterprise features. Hope
this helps.

JM:

Go Tools, Enterprise Options, open Microsoft Office
Project Server Accounts. Select the name of the server
or local computer you want to set as default and select
the Set As Default button. Now when you open Project
Pro, you won't be prompted.

Hope this helps!
