get data failure

open doc then to tools mail merge get data excel entire sapreadsheet ok opens
userform for source. upon closeing userform window pos up no merge fields
found. No I don't get to fing any fields? Missing something.
Oldog new tricks I'm stumped

Does the first row of the spreadsheet contain valid field names?
