Get error meassage when click on cell hyperlinked to JPEG file

I am setting up a table in Excel (Prof. Office Excel 2003, SP2) to list a
collection of photos files; one column has cells with hyperlinks to small
JPEG files (hyperlinked to the photos...eg, J1, J2, J3.jpg, etc). I find
some of the cells work fine (the JPEG file (photo) opens up when clicked)
whereas other cells give a Microsoft Excel error message "Cannot open the
specifed file." Same problem when I use Tiff files. Any advice appreciated.
