Get FP to copy images on remote sites to local web?

Folks:

I have composed a number of pages that have imgs whose image files (ie: src
tag) are on another remote site.

At some point in the past, on saving such a file, FP offered to go retrieve
copies of those image files to insert in the local site (and adjust the img
tags accordingly). Great.

Now I want to get FP to do that again, and I can't make it happen. No amount
of saving the file or closing the site seems to prompt FP to do it, and I
can't find an actual menu item to tell it to happen explicitly.

Any clue how to invoke this magic?

Thanks,

Graham

if you mean an image source tag as in <img
scr="http://www.somesite.com/images/imagfile.jpg">
I don't know....

FP does prompt you to save images if you cut/paste directly from the image editor
(rather than import/insert image)

I don't know if that's true of using the remote url to the image, since there is
no reason for it to save it locally as it is accessing it from the remote server.

If you want to save the image(s) and host them on your server, go to the site
they are on and right-click and save image as (or similar - depends on your
browser). then go to location on your HDD to save them. remember to import them
into your web and insert the img src tags as usual.

If the other site you want the images from is run by you, can't you just import
them from the other site if the site exists on your HDD?

Why not import the other site into a new FP web, rather
than right clicking? Then you can import easily and just
delete the web when you're done.
