get new font for mac

I realise this is not a word thing but a system thing. But I figure
someone out there will have an answer. I have a mac OSX and want to
download, free, the font called SAND. I tried to do this through
google, but without success. If anyone can help ...

Thanks for that Bob, but it's actually a different font from the sand
I want, which was a standard font on my old mac, and which I can't
upload to my new one.

You can't copy it to some type of external media. (USB memory stick, usb
floppy drive, cd-r, zip drive and bring it over.
