Get PPV to work on Mac OS 9?

How can I get PowerPoint Viewer to work on Mac OS 9?

PPV 98 starts up First Run, installs files, reboots computer and never
runs 98 due a supposed conflict with Internet Explorer.

Know of any work-arounds or other PPV versions that WILL work?
