Get Rid of Office Assistant

I really screwed up. Current system is XP w/ Word 2002. I thought I wanted
the Office Assistant, so I installed it. Now I can not find the Help index.
Every time I click Help - MS Word Help, the office assistant comes up and
nothing it has to offer in its limited selections helps with what I want to
do. Is there a way to uninstall the Office Assistant? What I am trying to do
is create and print a sheet of labels, all alike, based on an Avery size. I
can do it in Word at work, (Word 2002 but no Office Assistant) but here at
home the Office Assistant offers only a single label or envelope. Any
suggestions, ideas, or comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.

The office assistant is merely a friendly front end to the help system and
does not affect your ability to access help or create labels. Right click
the help assistant to set its options, to be less intrusive, turn it off
from the Help menu, or uninstall it from Office setup (Windows Control Panel
Add or Remove Programs) You will find the Help Assistant in the Office
Shared functions group.

As for the page of labels, click the new document button in the label
dialog to create a sheet of labels each containing whatever (if anything)
you enter into the text window of that dialog.

For more than a page of labels, you need mail merge -
