Get rid of the 25 digit code to open word, etc. I have to buy all.

I bought a new laptop. The key code does not work. MS says its the
manufacturer and the manufacturer says its MS. Now I have to buy new windows
software for my laptop because I can't get support!

The question is "Who did you pay the money to?" Is this OEM version? If
so the Vendor is bagging you? On the other hand if it is Retail version
then it's Microsoft support. Figure out what you have and then pursue
the appropriate company.
