gettin data from another sheet

Hi ~ I was wondering how do I access data from a different sheet but the
same workbook. I'm doing a spreadsheet about payroll, and I wanted to
transfer part of that data onto sheet2. I think I use the dget
function but I'm not quite sure how to use it. For example, I would
want to access the number of hours a employee worked from sheet1 and
put it in sheet2. Thanks!!!!

Debbie, here is one way, on sheet two put =Sheet1!A1, to display whats on
sheet 1 cell A1
