Getting 0x800ccc0f on sends of larg(er) files - here's log data

I am consistently (99+% of time) getting 0x800ccc0f whenever sending files
500kB using OL 2003 on XP SP2. I have tried all remedies I've found in this

and other groups. I have NOT unistalled MacAfee Virusscan, but I HAVE turned
off scanning of outbound mail.

Here is the last part of a log of an unsuccesful attempt - can anyone
decipher this? Does it yield any helpful details as to what might be going
on? What about that last log entry time-tagged at 2005.12.22 12:35:54 -
what's that all about?

I'll be glad to post the earlier parts of the log too, if that would be of
further help.

I have (tentatively) declared victory over this problem: Tcpip settings on my
PC were not optimum (in particular SackOpts and TcpMaxDataRetrnsmissions). I
have experienced no problems since setting those to 1 and (default)
respectively.
