getting 2 files opening

Hello,
When I dbl click on a Project template mpt file in windows explorer,
I am always getting 2 files opened.
1) file name and 2) file name - 1
Is there some kind of setting for this?
Or does anyone know a reason?

Hi Greg,

What version of Project, including service pack? What happens if
you use the Project interface to create a new file based upon the
template?
