getting around mandatory sheet# for creating a excel webpage

i am attempting to upgrade from office 2003 to office 2007 for my website web
page creation. In 2003 excel, i was able to hide sheet # but i cannot do so
in 2007 excel. my website works using internet explorer browsing but files
will not load
using hostmonster.com. Files load but when activating my site, the following
results:

URL/index_files/sheet001.htm cannot be found.

Anyone have suggestions on how to get around the sheet1 appearing on the
bottom left corner of each page? Thank you

why would you use Excel to design a website?
and if you did such a thing and ran into a problem why would you ask for
help in a Publisher newsgroup?

are you really using Excel as a web design tool?
