Getting Audio To "Play Through" Multiple Slides

Although I see online instructions for doing this with PPT 2008, I can't figure out how to do it with 2004:

I want to import 12 minutes of audio and have it "play through" multiple slides. So rather than adding audio to individual slides, I want to add slides at specific places along the audio track (which plays continuously).

It must be simple to do — but after 3 hours of trying and searching, I can't figure it out.

Help?

Hi,

I have no idea which online instructions you found.

Try these http://pptfaq.com/FAQ00047.htm

Thanks.
