getting data back into Outlook 2007

Hi,
I had to reinstall the Vista OS on my HP laptop.

I chose to use "export" for Outlook data (I know, I know) because it had
just worked on my husband's machine. The only difference I see is that he
only monitors ONE email acct. from within Outlook whereas I monitor four.
One of which is a Microsoft Sm. Bus. (SQL?) account. When I did the export,
the utility/wizard would only let me export each individual section (what I
call "email address" --prob. a *pst) instead of an "image" of all the data
in the program. So what I have on disk is the following:
-Three *.pst folders
-One *.bcm folder

I reinstalled Outlook 2007 and Business Contact Mgr., so of course, since
I'd exported, I used import--yuck. I brought two of the *.pst's over and now
have duplicate Tasks and who know what else...and both sets of messages are
showing up under the same "Personal Folders" heading. I tried "Open" from
the FILE menu just for giggles, which it did. Now I have two folders, both
cleverly named "Personal Folders."

Could someone please give me instructions on how to wipe these out of there
and get set back up the way it was before. Basically, I had my default email
under personal folders, then as I'd added other accounts, they stacked up
nicely underneath each other in the navigation pane with the names I gave
them.

Also--do I have to reenter all that POP/IMAP/SSL stuff again? Nada is
showing up under the Accounts... I guess I thought it was part of the
profile, but perhaps w/ Export you just get data?

Any help is appreciated.
