Getting data into Excel cells for OLE objects retuened from Access

Hello all,

I have a MS Query in Excel filtering and retrieving
relevant data from MS Access. When the data returns, all
BUT the column which refers to a OLE object datatype in
Access returns values.

What should I set the format in Excel to see the OLE
objects dynamically.

Thanks

AFAIK, that is not possible. Sorry.

Hi Tushar,

Thank you for responding. Is there any workaround to get
OLE bitmaps based on criteria into the cells ? And what's
AFAIK ?

To your 2nd question: AFAIK = As far as I know.

That, in turn, should answer the first question ;-)

[Though -- and this is sheer speculation -- I don't know if ADO/SQL
will return a blob and if that blob can be subsequently manipulated by
VBA into some kind of shape/image object that XL understands. But,
even if that is possible, you'd have to check with the appropriate
ADO/SQL newsgroup and, I suspect, research the past part yourself.]
