Getting error 5011 when accessing through java

there is a strange error that i am getting. i am trying to programatically logon to MS project server through the PDS API, when i do it with the VB or IE its fine, but when i am trying to do the same thing with a java code, or just typing the asp page url in the HOTJAVA browser, its giving me an error called 5011, session cookie not found, and the error traces back to SessStart.asp in the virtual_root folde
