Getting fonts to work

when i go to change my font in a office document the only options it gives me is DEVICE FONT 12cpi...10cpi and so on. It will not show all the fonts that i have in my fonts folder under the controle pannel. I have tried reloading office but nothing has worked yet.

That's because it has nothing whatsoever to do with Office. There are two
reasons this is happening: -

1) You have a generic text only printer installed and selected as default

2) You do not have a printer installed that is capable of handling TT
fonts.

Once you've satisfied these conditions Office will once again allow the use
of fonts.
