Word 2003
Graphic is a person's signature that needs to be superimposed over a line of
underscores. The sentence will move up or down in the document depending on
the text above.
I insert the graphic, then right click to edit settings. I select
Layout/Behind text because this is only way the signature appears to be
"signed" on the line. Advanced button - Move object with text is checked by
default. OK out and signature is on the line. Move line up or down and
signature moves, but line goes through the signature.
Viewing the anchor point show it in line with the top of the graphic and
this seems to be the reason the signature ends up in the wrong place after
the line is moved.
This document was created by someone else and worked just fine, then I was
asked to make some changes to it. Now no worky. Document cannot be recreated
from scratch because it contains links to a database from another program
(Goldmine) that I know nothing about.
Appreciate any an all help.
Thanks
Mark
