Getting Microsoft Word 2003 Jscript runtime error.
Microsoft Visual Studio.Microsoft Visual Studio
Debugger in the title bar.
Program [5932] MSOHELP.EXE Script Thread [5620] Thread 15F4
Stack Frame Jscript global code
JScript - window script block
ToggleDiv('divExpCollAsst_1')
Project Explorer - Miscellaneous files
JScript - window script block
This happens when I try to use MS Word Help.
First I turn on help from the Help menu. I put in a search term, say
"template". Then I am presented with a list of options that I can click on. I
click on an option, say "how to create a template" and the Microsoft Office
Word Help window opens completely blank, along with another, smaller window
that has "Error" in the title bar. It says: A Runtime Error has occurred. Do
you wish to Debug? Line 1605 Error: Expected '}' with a yes/no option. I
click on 'yes'.
Just got this erro message looking up "templates"
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 1606
Char: 14
Error: Expected'}'
Code: 0
URL: http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/hfws/aspx?
etc.,,,,,,,,,,,....
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
Yes or No?
I uninstalled and reinstalled MS OFFICE but it still didn't clear up the
error. Please help.
