Getting "Name#?" error for date() on Windows 98/2000

Please help!
I made a form that enters the current date when it opens
with the "date()" function as a default value. It works
great when people open the form from Windows XP.
However, when someone opens the form in a different
version of Windows (98/2000), the error "Name#?" is
displayed where the date should be.
Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike D

This appears to be the very common References bug. Open any
module in design view, or open the VBA editor by typing
Ctrl-G. Select Tools... References from the menu. One of the
..DLL files required by Access will probably be marked
MISSING. Uncheck it, recheck it, close and open Access.

If none are MISSING, check any reference; close and open
Access; then uncheck it again. This will force Access to
relink the libraries.
