Getting Office Software to a new PC without a CD.

I have Office 2000 on my current "older" PC. I believe that it came with the
PC, as it has "OEM" in the Product ID and the Microsoft site says that means
the software came with the PC. I don't have an Office 2000 CD to install it
onto another PC, and I don't have a CD burner to download the software. I am
looking to buy a new PC. Is buying a current version of Office my only
option for getting it on a new PC other than trying to download to many, many
floppies? (I am happy with Office 2000 and mainly use some of the
components for personal use.) Since it is licensed to me, does Microsoft ever
allow downloads of older software?

An OEM version of Office cannot be transferred to another
computer. You are only licensed to use an OEM version of Office
